Doing a lot of Street Time before I went to the Academy taught me a lot.

I worked for a small Dept on the East side of the State and went to the Seattle Police Academy. It was mainly Seattle and King County recruits who knew shit about LEO work unless they had experience from somewhere else.

Also attended the WSP academy for EVOC and Accident Investigation training.

At that time for small Departments you either went to Seattle or Spokane for the Academy.

Fun Times.

One of my sisters is MSP, has been a trooper for almost 25 years.   I know a lot of her pals and for the most part, they are pretty good folk.
