(CBS News) In 2008, the Obama campaign was arguing for hope and change. This year, the president's re-election campaign is asking Americans to move keep moving forward.
President Obama's campaign on Monday released a seven-minute video entitled "Forward," which they're using to kick off the general election. The video reminds viewers of the dire state of the economy in early 2009, when Mr. Obama took office, and all that the president has accomplished since then –– even in the face of Republican obstruction. Over images of everyday Americans, the video goes through a laundry list of Mr. Obama's accomplishments: the economic stimulus package he says saved as many as 4.2 million jobs, the end of the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy discriminating against gays in the military, the end of the Iraq war, the changes to regulation of Wall Street and the credit card companies, the auto bailout and more. Over a picture of Mr. Obama, a narrator says, "Hard work, determination, real results." The video then castigates Republican for their opposition to the president's agenda. "Instead of working together to lift America up, Republicans were waging a campaign to tear the president down," the narrator says as the video shows images of congressional Republicans. The campaign will play the video during Mr. Obama's first official campaign rallies Saturday in Ohio and Virginia. http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-57424018-503544/obamas-2012-campaign-pitch-forward/ |

Forward off the cliff?
Forward into obscurity? Forward? Has an iceberg been sighted? |
|
Great. Now I get to hear my Obama loving co-worker say "Forward" for the next 6 fucking months.
Ever since Barry's 2008 campaign, he has answered the phone "How may I HOPE you" instead of help you. |

ya, the middle isn't gonna buy his BS this time around, the kenyan is toast this fall. cant wait.
|
|
Of course he wants to keep moving forward, there's a goddamn wookie chasing him.

Isn't MSNBC's new thing the "Lean Forward" campaign? I do believe I've heard that. It's either that or "current tv" that is doing that |
|
Forward to mediocrity and slavery to the nanny state! Oh wait, Republican leadership would agree with this motto.

I hope we get to say flush it again, there is still some floaters.
Where is the plunger? |

HE STOLE WISCONSIN'S MOTTO.
Scott Walker already used "Forward" in his 2010 campaign.
|
|
Somebody grab a screenshot of Enemy At The Gates where the commisar is ordering them to charge to their deaths or face their own machine guns, and caption that with "Forward"...

Isn't that what the Russians would say going into a suicide charge with bayonets?
The real question is....FORWARD into what? |
|
Coming from the party which wants to tax and regulate us back to the stone age, who call themselves "progressive," I think it's pretty easy to see what they mean by "forward."

That motherfucking piece of shit is going to win again. You guys realize this as you are making fun, right?
I take no pleasure in saying so, but your optimism to the contrary is going to meet with sore disappointment. |

I take no pleasure in saying so, but your optimism to the contrary is going to meet with sore disappointment. I truly don't think so. There will be those who will vote for him again, because of what he is. But a lot who voted for him because of a desire for change are very unhappy with what that change turned out to be. That segment will not vote for him again. And, the conservative side is out for blood. Make no mistake, Republican turnout at the polls will be VERY heavy. I think the only way Obama can win this election is via MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD, and with organizations like the SEIU and other labor unions, and the New Black Panthers, and (formerly) ACORN involved, that is a distinct possibility. The elections will have to be monitored very closely to keep the fraud to a minimum. CJ |

I hope this kind of crap continues by the Democrat party and they embrace it, and flaunt it, loudly for the world to see. I want these Lenin lovers to kick it up, and stop hiding who they really are from the American public. Show us who you really are Democrats! Stop hiding who you want to be, and "officially" come out of the communist closet!

Wow. It's unbelievable that people would spend huge money on that type of "communist type" bill board here in America. Where is the shame? It's like we are all living in Senator McCarthy's worst nightmare. |
