Nothing on the shroud is plastic, its all made of good ol' American steel.

Taking it out to the range this weekend (weather permitting)

What it does (or will do by the time we are done) is out shoot any bolt action rifle out to 800 yards in a fraction of the time given the same round count 1 on 1.

Yea, I went there.

However, we still have a lot of work to do.

Once we get the .308 testbed we will be moving to a .338 application.

The first prototype did not have the integrated muzzle brake.

It was a fast draft to begin toying with the concept, but apparently patience is a lost virtue on some and just assumed that ugly box was somehow a final product.

Prototypes evolve, crazy idea I know.
