On the last one (Pt6) about 25-35s in a kid gets shot in the eye with a paintball gun. From that range (20-30ft it seems) he will likely be blinded for life in one eye if it made full contact.

Yeah, when I was a kid we had a thing called depth perception. Jumping off a 2 story roof? We called that "Dude, it's too fucking high up." Jump across 30 feet off a 2 story roof? "Dude, that's too fucking far and too fucking high." Like you, I watch those videos and say, "If everything goes 100%...you still ain't gonna make it." I don't get it. |

What did we ever do before video cameras?
![]() I've seen some things done that were fairly idiotic but those videos are simply amazing. What in the world were some of those people thinking? Or rather how could you have such a complete failure to think? ETA: Ah yes, flaming drinks. Never saw that go wrong. |

Amazing how many folks sit there and laugh hysterically at their critically injured "friends".
If the guy ain't moving, perhaps you should render aid? Damn. I believe more than a few on that first vid died. Pretty sure the guy sitting on the tire did, from what I read. ETA: Not sure what's so hilarious about agonal breathing and seizures. Saw more than one person doing the double fisted death grip..... |

I am amazed at how, when someone is about to do something with no possible good outcome, everyone's laughing and in a great mood. Then, when the inevitable happens, it's suddenly "Oh my God!" and assorted, stunned profanity. Are folks so stupid that, in a group like that, not one person raises his hand and says, "Hey, guys, maybe we shouldn't do this..." I guess the videos are a pretty thorough answer to that question. ![]() Nope, that doesn't kick in until age 20 or so. Of course, the dumb stuff my friends and I did didn't hold a match to the dumb stuff in these videos. What's with kids these days having to jump off really high buildings without any sort of backup plan for the 99.99% chance of it going wrong? I thought my friend was nuts enough when he jumped off a 5 foot storage shed as a kid. Now the equivalent is jumping off a 15+ foot high building while on an unstable device with wheels and having no where soft to land while being filmed. Finally, I barely made it through the second video and I can't watch anymore. I can't stand videos where people's spines and joints bend in ways that they ain't supposed to bend. I'm good with watching guys like the guitar idiot but I'll pass on the videos like the table jumper dude. I think that I'm just the 1% of arfcom that can't laugh at these videos. |
