I might be behind on this one, you might have this covered, but I do believe importing 55 million rounds of ammunition might come with it's own set of problems that are far more convoluted than handing Ivan a few G's and having him hand you a receipt for a small bush war's worth of bang bang. |

Good luck and safe travels! Didn't AIM once blow through a 7 or 8 digit quantity of 5.56 in less than a week during the 08' election panic? I remember there was at least one thread that had guys talking about how many pallets they ordered. |

Free case of 5.56 to everyone who posts on page 1 and 2 of this thread? OK...that's a bit ridiculous. How about a case for cost?
Too bad all the 7.62x39 over there will be steel core (except for Yugoslavian) and not importable.
Any chance you can dig up some more 8mm in Romania? Pretty please! My Mauser wants to eat again.

In all serious, watch your ass. Try to bring along a few heavies - even if you can't really pay them upfront, offer them a piece of the action.
Look at it this way - even if the whole thing is a bunch of bullshit and you're never anywhere near a deal - it's still a cool story to tell your grandkids someday. |

The transportation costs are going to far outweigh the cost of the ammo.
Good luck,I wish I had the kind of bankroll where I could even consider buying 55 million fucking rounds of ammo...In Eastern Europe. I'm in for 100 rounds. |
