I'm under non-disclosure until they go public, but I wanted to let everyone know that things are moving forward. Shot Show? |

Misleading title, its not CavArms, but their former product manufacturing
equipment heading to a new home. It could be years before anything is back on the market. |
|
I love my CAV's!! YAY!!
Cant wait to find out who is going to be making them again! |
|
Excellent! Now I just need to finish out the lowers I bought a while back. Other projects have had priority... sigh...

I hope they come back with those see-through lowers. This. Plus all the purdy colored ones too. |

They had a helluva time loading the press and such onto that trailer, but as you can see, they managed. I dunno where it's headed, but it was interesting to see it go. Kinda of like getting a bit of closure. One chapter has ended, and another will soon open.
The see-through hand guards are awesome. I just wish we made them in mid length... |

While I prefer metal lowers, I am happy to see them getting back in the action and was happy to purchase non-lower parts from them in the past.

Quoted: how much were their lowers when they were still making them?? IIRC there was a time when you could get the black ones for less than $50. |

I got one of the last ones made and matched it up with a matching FDE MagPul carbine length MOE + an AFG in black for contrast. I really need to get a pix of that posted. Frigging sweet.
Good news. I want a FDE lower |

Clear is too brittle. It would be come opaque if you made it strong enough. However, if you made it opaque you could put LED lights inside! haha
|
|
It would be great, I hope they will warranty the old stuff, because I have three of those bad boys and one day one might actually break.
|
|
This is great news to me. I was never a big fan of the whole color thing when they were in production, the last year or so I have been kicking myself for not buying some when they were available.

New owners, new staff too?
Hope the new company stays out of trouble. |

An AR lower is much more complex and has more forces applied to it and has more restrictions on its design. A magazine can be fat and simple and not have problems. |

This is good news, and it's always a good thing when a manufacturer comes back from the dead. The more the merrier. I wish them nothing but luck. I need one in Pink as a sub cal project, one in safety blue to match the Farm theme, and one that looks like it has mud and grease stains all over it for the shop. And yes. Fuck the BATFE! |
