What sort of tests are you going to do? Try this one.:

1. Zero the scopes on their respective rifles.
2. Shoot 10 shot groups with both rifles.
3. Swap scopes and sight them in on the new rifles and write down the W&E adjustments.
4. Shoot 10 shot groups with both rifles.
5. Swap scopes back to original rifles.  Turn turrets back to zero from step 1.
6. Shoot 10 shot groups with both rifles.
7. Swap scopes again.  Turn turrets to W&E from step 3.
8. Shoot 10 shot groups with both rifles.

That is one aspect of the test.

But honestly, how many of you have even removed your scopes since you first attached them and initially tested their repeatability?

I've never done a dedicated test, but I have removed an ACOG from a rifle, replaced it, and it shot satisfactorily.

Not scientific, but it rang the gong.

Similar results here with an Armalite mount and a Burris Fullfield II 3-9X scope.

POI might shift a little, but not very much.

Make sure you re-mount in the same position.

Exactly.  Repeatability doesn't mean things don't move, it means things move the same under similar conditions.

A Larue mount's success comes from 2 primary things-
1) It's solidly built from good material.  This reduces flex or distortion of the mount under varying conditions.
2) The cam mechanism makes it very easy to put a consistent clamping force on the mounting surface, the picatinny rail.  IMO, this is the most important thing.

A good pair of scope rings will be every bit as accurate and repeatable as an LT mount If you install it in the same location and apply the same clamping force; this is why all the precision rifle shooters have special little torque wrenches.

However, this is not quick, and that's where the LT shines like a diamond in goat's ass.

Every material deflects under every load, how you manage this deflection is what matters.

Edit- gall damn, I went and got all technical in GD, hope I don't get banned.

Don't get me wrong.  It's quality.

If I were fighting with a rifle in battle, I would want and need that kind of quality or better.  And I'd gladly pay it.
