When did Keltec move to Moscow? I had the same thought. |

Looks fun!
Bet it does not perform as well as it looks. 12.7x55mm...a short .50? |

Seems to be...totally impractical for mil applications (at large issue) but would be fun in a non-mil application of say, busting clays placed on top of Igor's head at 100 meters. Hey Vasilli, hold my Vodka...watch this |

And I thought that .50 cal submachine guns were only an invention of Fallout New Vegas!

I wonder how much kick this round will have. A 50 beowulf is 12.7x42 and a normal 50 cal is 12.7x99. I wonder if this round is subsonic and is Russias answer to the 300blackout niche.

This revolver looks like a S&W 500, Medusa & Chiappa gangbanged each other and this is the bastard result that should have been aborted with a coat hanger. http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/1008/k314657x400img411652601.jpg All my questions were just answered |

The State Dept had some .50 Beowulfs in Iraq.
Used them for stopping vehicles. I heard they worked great when shooting down from a chopper through the hood into the engine........ |

Based on size alone I would say this new Russian round is more powerful than the .50 Beowulf. .50 Beowulf is 12.7 x 42mm vs. Russian 12.7 x 55mm. |

I hope brass becomes available for this new round. It looks like it would fit nicely in a 308 AR platform.

I'm still waiting for the 9x39 to make it's way into the US of A

It is a prerequisite that Russians must design all weapons to look like junk.

The stock on that bullpup is longer than the AUG, way longer.

I am a little surprised no one has IDed the massive mystery revolver. Judging by the size of the cylinder I am wondering if it could also be in 12.7 x 55?

Dave, what was the hold up on the 9x39? I dunno.........lack of interest by the importer, unwillingness to sell that particular cartridge to decadent capitalists by the Russians.....not sure. Tula said they could make a sporting load Izhmash said they could make a sporting rifle but people didn't think they'd sell any..............fools...... |

There is little to no English language info on this. I am hoping one of our Russian members will be able to provide more info. |

Would the standard steel core AP ammo be a no go? Obviously importation would be an issue, but could it realisticly be made here then loaded into primed brass since it's not a pistol round? |

The more I think about it, the more I wonder wtf the Russians plan to use a full auto bullpup carbine that fires what could be the ballistic equivalent of a 458 Winchester magnum for? It makes me wonder if they have some kind of secret super soldier program that's creating some huge hulkish spetznatz or something.
