Due to the kindness of others, thats now 3 new life members I have been able to sign up.

I hope this overall brings the NRA a lot of money to help them act now.

At current annual rates, it would take 12 years to bring this amount from one person, so by doing this, we are creating a massive injection of cashflow into the NRA.

Lets hope its used well!

I got an offer from them to sign up one more life member when I received my card. I don't know if it's good for more than one. Only one way to find out, I guess.

The ONLY reason I am no longer a member is their 'fundraising harassment' I mean I got more mail from them in a year than I did from EVERYONE else who sent me mail (putting everyone else in the other pile).

And damn, I'd love to send them some $ now and then.... but was afraid if I did, it would only encourage them to send me MORE junk mail.

Gay and lesbian and transgender Americans are exactly that - Americans. They're entitled to the same Xxx-damned right as any other American, and to say otherwise is outrageous and offensive. - Ben Affleck (July 28, 2004 - Salon Magazine)

To stop getting mail from the NRA, just call NRA HQ at 703-267-1000 and ask to speak with Membership. You could also use the "800" number that is on your membership card to call and speak to a Membership Specialist to ensure you no longer receive any direct mail.

Simply ask them to remove you from the mailing list and they will do so.

No problem at all.

That brings us up to 322 new and upgraded life members thus far. If you've been holding out, this is definitely the day to make the leap. What could be a more historic occasion?
