The suspects are accused of illegally helping people vote by absentee ballot. State officials launched an investigation after an unusually high number of absentee ballots were cast in the July 2010 primary election. "As a result of their grand jury findings 12 individuals were indicted in that particular matter and we will be trying that case in a court of judicial law instead of a court of public opinion so that will be pending this next year," said District Attorney Joe Mulholland. The defendants include some workers in the voter registrar's office and some school board members. They are Angela Bryant, April Proctor, Brenda Monds, Debra Denard, Lula Smart, Kechia Harrison, Robert Denard, Sandra Cody, Elizabeth Thomas, Linda Troutman, Latashia Head, and Nancy Denard. |

This type of activity subverts the Constitution, and should receive HARSH punishment.

Yes, If you hang them, it will be appropriate for our economic and environmental concerns that we are all dealing with.
The use of one rope for all guilty persons... 1. It will save money. 2. It is "friendly" on the environment. It's a win for all involved. |

I think this type of thing is way more common than most people realize. All across the country, every election.

As for the whole idea of Absentee Ballots, some states are so fraking lazy, they let Everybody do it. And that is where I see a lot of abuse. Whenever this shit makes the news, it usually involves the words "Absentee Ballot" . I like how they do it here in PA. You need a valid reason to get out of taking your lazy ass to the (insert name of your local place you go to vote). Active Duty? Out of the State/Country? In the Hospital ? Here's your ballot. I'd also allow people who are severely disabled. Just having a placard does not count. If you can walk into Walmart, you can take your lazy ass to the voting place. |

[Last Edit: 11/23/2011 5:02:00 PM by MK4Mod0]
I understand the general rule and all that.......but I didn't want to say something about a particular political group, unless, I knew as best I could living in NH, that these people are in fact democrats.
Then I would cry "Hang them " If they are Republican I would cry "Hang them with a better grade of rope!"

They're scheming to defraud the other voters and candidates. |

The good thing is every hanged guy gets a free rope souvenir of the hanging. |

Considering that mere possession of some objects that can be legal with the right paperwork can carry a mandatory minimum of 10 years, 5-10 for fucking with the very foundation of our constitutional republic is a pretty light sentence IMO. |

I would assume those people are extremely ignorant about how important the constitution is, or don't give a damn. Either way, the punishment should be very severe.
Voter fraud should carry an absolute minimum of five years. |

All concerned are democrats, just like the whole county. I hated having to register as a Democrat to vote in 2008 primaries because all the candidates for sheriff were Dems. had to register to have a vote.

Situation normal for the Dems.
![]() I remember a thread earlier about some vote rigging by Dems, and one of the resident libs whined about "Republicans do it all the time also!" so asked for links about R voter fraud. I think he found one. |
