IDK , I will only defend that which I know is good, and from the looks of the video, I probably will not be recommending it to anyone, or even admitting it exists
Back on subject, his upper-end knives are pretty good quality for the price. I have a Trail Master San Mai II in my bugout gear, and it is a definite performer in terms of edge grind, metallurgy, and overall quality of the blade. I have not messed with too many of his cheaper knives though, some are good however. It all depends if you like the designs.
Worst knife I ever bought was a cold steel folder. Blade rusted up from casual use like it had been at the bottom of the sea in a shipwreck for centuries. Came dull and was a pain to sharpen.
There's a video of a sword some comedian bought, just fooling around with it the sword broke and the blade flew off.
I have heard he has some good knives, but a lot of them are cheap trash. Course you can sell junk and still be a nice guy to go hunting with or go for a beer with. I guess Sal Glesser? From Spyderco has stuck up for him before.
His firearm video I saw was an embarrassment.
