Holiday ARFCOM 2011 MarketWatch game sponsored by Centerfire Systems

A DoubleStar AR-15 Rifle is up for grabs!

Just a brief background for anyone that hasn’t participated. Marketwatch.com offers a game with a stock market trading platform based on the real U.S. stock markets. It’s free to join. This is a GAME with virtual money. There is no cost to play. No purchase is necessary. This game is sponsored by Centerfire Systems.

Simply sign up for a free MarketWatch.com account, join the Holiday ARFCOM 2011 game, pick your stocks and cross your fingers!

We've changed up the game quite a bit for this round of trading to accomodate participants that aren't able to play on a daily basis. We'll be giving away random prizes throughout the game. So JOIN, JOIN JOIN!! The more participants we have, the more prizes we'll be giving away!

Rules:
You MUST use your AR15.com name as your display name at Market Watch to qualify for prizes. If your handle is not available, please use your AR15.com name followed by “trader”. For example: loisfromcenterfiretrader. Once you’ve joined the marketwatch game, please let us know in the thread by typing “IN”. (This is a chance for us to talk smack to our competition and not a requirement to win prizes) One account per person.

Prizes are subject to local and state laws. Store credit will be offered in lieu of the grand prize for partipating winners in states where the prize is not permitted by law. Must be located in the US to win prizes as we do not ship outside of the US.

Centerfire Systems staff may participate in the game but are not eligible to win prizes.

Please check the specific rules for the game as we’ve changed a few settings including “hiding” portfolios, minimum trades and the starting budget is lower. MUCH lower!

Now for the fun stuff!

"Man Pack" prizes will be awarded throughout the game. Goodies in the "Man Packs" will vary so we encourage you to snap a photo and share it for everyone to envy! Be sure to watch the thread on a regular basis to find out how to win the next available Man Pack!

How to win the Double StarAR-15?

It's simple! Be the trader in the ranking spot 16 at the end of trading on December, 16th!

(If for any reason the trader in the ranking spot 16 is not available or not eligible to accept the prize, we'll create a sudden death round. The sudden death round will be a new game set up for one day of trading with the top trader awarded as the winner of the game. )

Yes, we know the MarketWatch game site has glitches but that only adds to the suspense!
