THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
For those who need it, here is photographic evidence of Bushmaster AR-15s at Wal Mart.

Didn't get a good look at it. Didn't hold it. Just took a pic.

That is all...

Very nice!
MD requires a special license and an 8-day wait for ARs, so I bet they won't be in our stores.

What caused walmart to go back to selling them?

All three walmarts in my county stopped carrying any (they would, I think, still special order them) but now all three do so again. There was remodeling in at least two stores, was it at the same time?

Looks to me like the $627 tag says Ruger Mini 14 Ranch.

even for non Wallyworld fans, this just strenghtens the 'common usage' argument if they're being sold at Walmart.

Two days ago, a Remington R-15 was put on display at my local Walmart. But before I even saw it, somebody else had already reserved it.
That can't possibly be as poignant as it sounds.

I saw a Remington camo ar15ish thing in the Roseburg Oregon wally mart a couple days ago. I've still yet to see any high cap mags for anything and the last time I requested to look through the special order gatalog (sp) there were NOT EVEN any home defense/security shotguns. Fuck wal mart! Support your localy owned gun shop.

$800ish is not an unreasonable price for a beginning level AR from Bushmaster or similar.

Likely due to their already having steady deals going with other Freedom Group brands.

Wait! What??

Md has a screwed up assault weapons waiting period. AKs, Ars and others have a waiting period similar to a handgun waiting period. Except for the Colt Hbar, which can be purchased and taken home that day like a fudd rifle.

AR-15s are big money these days. The only other firearm with as many makers is probably the 1911. They have a R-15 at my local Wal-Mart, and the other one started back selling firearms (used to only have ammo).

Plus that whole "Common Usage" thing in Heller really helped us.

Wait! What??
News to me. What "license"? That shitty safety card thing?
A dealer license issued by the MD State Police so you can deal in handguns and "regulated firearms." From what I've seen, its effectively a permit to let the MSP rape you whenever they want, even if you've done nothing wrong. They'll also hold it over your head saying comply with *bs demand of the year* or they'll deny your renewal and you'll have to find a buyer for your entire handgun and black rifle inventory.
