Why not, Romney and Christie can fight over votes.

Let's get Palin in while we're at it.

I'd be super concerned about his general health as "portly" as he is. I would hope he'd pick one hell of a good VP if he won the primaries as the "one heartbeat away" thing would have real meaning if he was elected.

I don't care how young or inexperienced Marco Rubio is, it is time for him to step in.  He's the only one I've seen so far with any character.

I would pick him over anyone in the current field.

I know he's weak on gun rights, but the president has minimal influence with that. The 2012 Congress will prevent new gun control.

It's all about the economy, and he's very strong there.

Plus he's entertaining as hell.

Sorry...., but Perry just looks dumb, Bachmann looks crazy, Paul *IS* crazy, Romney has no conservative backbone, and the rest are unelectable.

He might be considered a conservative in New Jersey and the rest of the Northeast, but he doesn't come close to being an actual one.

I agree with these statements.

My first choice would be Marco Rubio.  He may be young , but he is an excellent speaker.

I would vote for Chris Christie over ANY of the current Republican candidates.  I love how he took on the teacher's unions in New Jersey, and he is great in debates. He is not a champion of the 2nd Amendment...but he'll come around.

Pity he either doesn't like or hasn't read the constitution.

I won't vote for Romney due to his 2A stance (among other reasons), he is more of an anti then Romney, ergo, no vote from me.

Word here in NJ is that it was not an asthma attack but a cardiac incident.
The guy lives on Taco Bell and waffles.

He's waiting for the NJ legislative results and when the Dems retain the majority, he will grace the nation with his presence.
My friends and I supported him but now he's so full of himself, that he can't even run a town hall meeting without yelling.

Christie's pissed off seniors, judges, teachers, state workers, LEO and FD members and taxes have still gone up.
Not much of the electorate left so a second term is pretty much out of the question.

While retaining his boxes at Giant stadium and the Meadowlands, he is quick to tell residents they need to share the pain.
The last time he shared the pain it was a gastric problem not a financial problem.

IF my wife made $500K and my brother financed my campaign, I would have no problem living with his cuts...
Speaking of cuts; where are the promised cuts to the "bloated" state worker roles?

Ask the current LT Gov. how much input she has on policy.
Rubio would not be his water boy.

It doesn't matter.

The 2012 House will negate any push for gun control. Christie would never focus on it or push it.

Do people here even understand politics?

Silly question.
