Just a WAG, but since you saw the truck it probably won't be too long, but still could be months, most places the street view would be updated over a period of years, many years.



I had an appointment at a medical clinic, I didn't know where it was so I looked it up on Google maps, it had a street view of the building, with no surrounding buildings at all.  Even though I had seen the photo I had some difficulty locating it, since I was looking for a building out by itself, but that photo was years old, it was surrounded by buildings that had been there for several years!

It probably takes a good while to process the images and files. There are all kinds of things they have to do to make all of the pictures match up just right.
