My favorite beer is Keystone Light, and before that Coors Light.  I was told today that the Coors Company is Anti-gun.  Does anybody know anything about this???

I don't believe so, I remember that whatever Coors was running the outfit was a big PETA supporter.

I am currently just down the road from them. Went on a tour of the brewing facility last week. I did not see any signs posted prohibiting firearms.

They used to have a ceramics company and at one time made a reactor for a nuclear powered ram jet engine that was planned to be made into a hypersonic cruise missile carrying up to 18+ hydrogen bombs.

How could a company that was involved in something that awesome be anti-gun?

Pete Coors is a member of the NRA and appeared in one of their commercials.  They gave him an A rating when he ran for the CO Senate seat as a Republican in 2004.

ETA: I think the GOA gave him an A rating as well.

...Gresh asked the candidates which federal
laws they would vote to repeal: "A. the National Firearms Act of 1934,
B. the Gun Control Act of 1968, C. Brady background checks, D. the
assault weapons ban, or simply E. all of the above." Coors replied "all
of the above." (Pete Coors, that is)

Memphis is not a brewery anymore.  It's a contracted bottling operation now.  But, back in our brewery days, we had rail cars of slurry shipped to us from CO.
