Quitting smoking is easy. I've done it at least 5 times.

Congratulations.

Congrats to you.  I too know how hard it's to kick it.  15+ years and I think this time I'm done.  Been going on 9 months and I still occasionally get the urge but I don't want to start all over.

Keep it up

Today starts month seven. I had struggled with smoking for the past 10-15 years. I have quit for a couple of months at a time only to go back to it but I think I have finally kicked it.

The money I have saved from this has allowed me to purchase three suppressors and one SBR.

Congrats! Its been about 5 months for me since I've had a pull off a cig. I've been trying to run the past few years. Running/exercising really helps me not to want to smoke.

Careful to not sleep with it on. Most fucked up dreams you will ever have.

OP: it's been roughly 4 months since my last smoke. Stay strong my friend.

ETA: Holy fuck! 3 suppressors and an SBR? You must have smoked like a train!

I'm struggling with the nasty ass habit myself.

When you were a smoker how much did you smoke?

When I tell my Dr. my smoking habits he does not believe me. I never smoke at home or at night. During the week I have a about 2 a day with co-workers. If I drink I can smoke a pack in about 2.5-3 hours (if I even drink that long).

I only drink about 2-3 times a month.

 Congrats!

I made the decision to quit three weeks ago.  I slipped and had a couple the day my ex left, but I haven't had any since.  The money saved so far has bought me new furniture, and is paying for a trip to San Jose to see one of my dear friends.

Good for you!  I quit about 7 years ago.  Now I can't stand the smell, although I still dream about smoking sometimes.  I carried a pack of little mints in my pocket, which helped a lot.  Stay strong!

I have a few friends exactly like that. It's fairly common, and I'm not sure why your doctor wouldn't believe you. Guess he doesn't get out much.

Cngrats!! Good on ya!! Zmokin' iZ tEh dEBil!!

I quit about a year ago with the help of Niccorette Mini-Lozenges. Actually, in a year's time, I've smoked maybe 10 packs of cigarettes....I can't hardly drink beer without a smoke. I gotta think that: less than a pack a month is better than 2 packs a day.

Now....to kick the lozenges.
