I bought a few pairs of NIB Model 300, nickel/chained and can't find any info on them.

All I can find is a WTB post where they refer to them as "vintage" and an old eBay auction where they sold with a crusty old leather case for about $120!

I was just gonna use them for spares and/or bedroom use but if they're valuable I might leave them in the box! I thought the engraving on them looked a bit cheap, but it would sorta make sense that it's just old and therefore looks strange to me.

Tag for interest as I think I have a pair of those laying around.
OVERKILL GOOD!

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Remember it's just the internet. If you take it too seriously, we will make fun of you.

Don't listen to this guy. Ladies love it precinct-style. Add in a heat lamp for good measure and you can give her the third degree all night long.
Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.

Are these the legendary handcuffs used by Allan Pinkerton when he handcuffed Calamity Jane to the bar?

They stopped making them in 2003 and replaced them with the Model 700.
Naval gunfire, pistols and bayonets– keep ‘em all, because you never know when you’ll need them. And when you do need them, you need them right away.

I'm partial to the designer models, so I can match my ensemble.

So basically at $10/pair it's still a fine deal but I'm not going to get rich flipping them on eBay.

I might be able to sell some and buy more Hiatt-Thompsons though, that would make me happy!
