I roll my eyes every time I hear it outside of a mocking, "tier 1" joke context. Seriously. OR, if the word is too dear to ban, allow us to formally define it in terms of a shooter's/cop's/soldier's qualifications and credentials. Otherwise, it will continually be abused as a way to reference any asshole who's taken a shooting class.
