In IL all we have to do is put FOID in the title and we can sell anything.  I guess it is the only benefit to having to have a FOID card.

Yes, as a general rule, it is. The communist states may have issue with it, but in free America it's fine, and the fact that this question need be asked concerns me.

You have to believe the buyer is legally old enough to buy the ammo, and have no reasonable cause to believe they are a felon. If CL has an issue, they can fuck themselves. Worst they can do is ban your IP.

Careful with CL though... Lots of thieves, nutcases and jackasses.

Ya that's pretty much what I thought.  Never done it before, so just wanted to be careful ya know?  With all the crazy laws in this country, I wouldn't be surprised if something like this was illegal.

 

If you are making the ammo to sell, you need a manufacturer's license.

There's a guy in my area who gets pretty creative with his gun listings, so that they don't get flagged.  I think his last one was "used laser sight mounting platforms".
