It's sort of like Dr Dre singing country music, isn't it.

Not really, no.

No, it it.

He's talking about how he got his nine wiffem errware he go, smoke that weed, don't like the po-lice, etc etc.

Are you really going to troll this country music thread?

You're the one trolling with personal comments...

I find it quite interesting that this song has such stark paralells with gangster rap music.

Rap and Country have always been the sort of indigenous music styles of the underclass, urban and rural respectively. Both rely on southern dialects, and both are usually about very mundane stuff.

You don't hear much country music that addresses the themes of gangster rap though- carrying his nine with him, smoking weed, resenting authority.

It's really quite fascinating, and it's not something I'd ever have come across if not for reading this thread.

How about that, country is underclass and on par with rap.

What genre does the elite listen to in your house?

Yes of course it is, that's not exactly something in dispute anywhere...

It's sort of like getting dressed up and going to the opera or an orchestra, but on the other end of the spectrum.

You can do both, you know, unless you are a class conscious douche, of course.

Rap is a southern dialect.

Rap/hip hop started in New York. Influences from Jamaica and West Africa.

Gangsta Rap primarily was West Coast to begin with.

So do I, what genre do you prefer?

Not every question asked of you should be viewed suspicious.

Don't really prefer one over another, I can go through a number of radio stations and usually find something I enjoy listening to, at least for a while, on any one of them.
I'm going to go see the Little Weezy/ Nicki Minaj tour pretty soon, Maybe go to Coachella again, I tend to go to the symphony and the opera once a month or so.

My favorite musician as of late is a French singer called "Zaz."

I want nothing more than to go to France and capture her and buy her new teeth, and keep her.

Thanks for the prompt answer, you're a hard fellow to get to know.

I just caught the video you added. How do you know that's not French Country...

Since I started posting here, I have been accused by numerous trolls of being a number of other posters, many of whom are banned.

I am hesitant to post any personal information at all, since I have no way of knowing whether it will be twisted against me by these disreputable individuals.

I found a new Libertarian anthem. This does a pretty good job of summing up the ideology in a catchy way, and they should probably use it at their little get togethers during the campaign.

It pretty much translates to "you do your thing, I'll do mine" in standard English.
