The career of the ASAC that intimidated the whistle-blower is teetering on a razor's edge.

I really hope Grassley doesn't have a dog...
That said, I hope this gets run to ground and some heads are on pikes in the end. If anything, this and any forthcoming hearings will do much to uncover a culture of corruption and could do much to spur adoption of increasing oversight of the agency. |

Why is it always the same agency that gets caught framing people, underhanded dealing, trampling on citizens and they are still in existence? I swear, if it were anyone else, they'd have been disbanded years ago. You notice that you didn't hear shit from them for eight years under Bush now all of a sudden they're all over the place bringing out new rulings and lobbying for legislation. These guys make J Edgar Hoover look like Mother Theresa.

He and Mike Vanderboegh of Sipsey Street Irregulars blog are the ones who pushed this from the beginning. So how long until Grassley is found dead from 37 self inflicted gunshot wounds to the back of the head or gets an appointment from obama?

This will have some legs. I hope Fox News has the balls to discuss this matter now and not wait for the hearings to begin. The "normal" people who are not adament anti-gunners will hate to have been used to push the ATF agenda and will be more enraged that the ATF enabled the very same actions they were condemning at the same time. Congress is influenced by public outcry. The ATF made the media frenzy on the issue already and won't be able to hide from it now. That is irony at it's best. I would be pissed if I were a border patrol agent or a Mexican police officer

This will last as long as it takes the administration to dig up or create enough dirt to shut him up. If he is as good a man as everyone thinks he is he will still fight after it happens and let them take it to the press but I just don't have that kind of faith in any politician. If this comes out it will really fuck up obama's chances at re-election and the lefts chances at gun control. You can bet they will throw everything their propaganda machine can muster at this if it has any legs. |
