Ignoring the "razor" pun, I certainly did notice his name. People in AZ have nothing good to say about him. He has been in trouble before - one of his previous stunts cost him 45 days in the rain. They even sugar coated that punishment, allowing him to take that bad time 2 days a month - and keep his ASAC status. Google his name & agency for fun... |

An open letter to the Idiots outside our office:
It has recently come to our attention that most Americans and Congress don't seem to understand that PC photo ops, cronyism and unaccountable power mongering are far more important than mere laws and the lives of "little people" like that recently deceased agent ( secretary please fill in whats-his-name here and get some fresh meat for the glory hole). Laws are for us to enforce on you. If we can't find a convenient ruling to crush you, we'll creatively interpret one on a whim and send you down the river anyway. We are the ATF! STFU and be happy we don't shoot your dog. Sincerely, Your Betters on High BATF Management |

Message sent to Senator Grassley:
Senator Grassley,
I have heard that you are pressing for an investigation of the BATFE Project Gunrunner and it's involvement in the death of CBP Agent Brian Terry. I applaud your determination to bring this issue to light. Know that you have support from across the country. As this investigation proceeds, please also look into New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's activities related to straw purchases at Arizona gun shows and the BATFE's reluctance to investigate or prosecute these actions. Thank you for your time and efforts on our behalf. Sincerely, dsbock David |

I love Grassley. I love Issa even more, and he's barely beginning to get started.
I absolutely cannot wait to see the BATFE and the Justice Dept. knocked down, shat upon, feathered and run out of town. Godspeed. |

And honestly, that second letter isn't really that unusual when it comes to saber rattling between officials on Capitol Hill. I've read much worse, including threats of US Marshalls, the Sergeant-at-Arms, inherent contempt (which they haven't used since the 1940s), and much more extreme dick-swinging than just implying there might be a criminal charge involved. I've yet to hear of a bureau or agency official that is actually scared of criminal indictment. Why? It never happens to them. ![]() |
