That actually makes me smile....

I miss the CP/M and early DOS days.

Back when fancy multi-tasking was a TSR and Falcon 1.0 could be run from a virtual RAM drive even on a 256k EGA machine.

Just playing around with a hacked version of CP/M-86 on a old 486 that has both a 1.44MB floppy and a 360k floppy drive to try to make a new CP/M 360k boot disk because my original disk has crapped out and i'm trying do do this by memory.

Close , but I have two floppy drives one the 1.44 mb as the source , CP/M has to be hacked to read it and it seems the hack has issues,  and the target is a 360K drive.

That command would try to copy way more than 360k onto a 360K floppy.

I was using SYSGEN.COM and that did not work.

I just need to play around with it some more , maybe PIP B:=A:CPM.SYS will do it.

For those that don't know CP/M is OLD , it has issues with a hard drive partition larger than 8MB in size and refuses to see more than 640K ram , does not understand directorys at all.
1.44 floppy came out many years after CP/M stopped being THE major operating system for mini and ,microcomputers.

It was used while I was in junior high and high school...............
