"you are not authorized to call this number"

Pulled up one of my contacts on my droid x today and accidentally hung up trying to put it on speaker phone....resent the call from my "recently dialed number list" and it says "you are not authorized to call this number!"

3rd time it went through

Anybody else had a similar experience?

ETA: I'm calling a landline #

hmmm,
I remember several years ago when eBay gave out a "secret" customer service # to their Platinum level "Power Sellers", which I was a member of at the time. I tried to use the number after I had let my sales drop, and I received a similar message.

there are also some service providers that offer customers the option to "block" calls from unknown numbers, or "private" numbers...
this could be what you experienced?
