Depends.

If you put beans in your chili, you should move to Colorado.
If you don't, you can come to Texas.

Texas: pretty much as gun friendly as CO, just without the high cost of living.

Plus Larue is here.

hmmm.  I wonder if LaRue is in need of any CDL drivers....   I'll bring my own weapons...but I would much rather have theirs.

You hate snow and skiing, so that right there kills the main attraction of Colorado. From what I hear, the state is packed with Californians who are trying to turn CO in the place they fled from...

Plus side to TX is you can do outdoorsy shit all year long, no state income tax and OK gun laws. Plenty of jobs to be had.

Texas is kinda shitty in many ways, hot, flat, no public lands for motobikes and stuff like that. There are plenty of jobs to be had because you pretty much have no recourse against an employer if they fuck with you.

And I'll just come right out and say it: In many parts of southern TX (San Antonio and down) its pretty hard to tell if you are in TX or Mexico....

This is absolutely true.
The Kalifornianlibtardedness factor is getting worse.

I like both. But I'd go back to CO. I know its more expensive, but damn its nice country. But you sound like TX has more to offer you. I wouldn't have any problem going back there.

TX because your brother sounds like the strongest consideration.  Voted TX.

TX cons you left out: 1. As stated above, it's becoming Mexico pretty quickly (which is why we need you to move here)  2. Ft.Hood area is pretty full of waste of O2 meth-head/welfare cases.  I was up there for Christmas and read a stat in the paper how 49% of families in Coryell county are single mom.  Surrounding counties pretty much the same and Ft. Hood has given us a big rural ghetto.

Welfare is a helluva thing.  I do like a lot of things about TX, but the parts of CO I've seen are hard to beat.

pros of Texas:

Texas.

As was mentioned by another poster, the dating around these parts can be a bit... um... challenging.

I would move to Colorado. If I would leave MO it would be either Colorado or Utah again

good luck

I saw that. if I end up in Colorado, it'll be custer county.  a bastion of conservatives, surrounded by the CS and pueblo liberals....slowly being taken over my movie stars and Californians.  my friend is working on Randy Coture's new house there now.

Try 12.8% smart guy.

The only people really out of work are the unskilled, some casino workers and laborers.

Educated high skilled people are still employed.
But no, I would not recommend anyone move to NV without money and employment. The welfare rats are running back to you in CA as benefits get slashed.
Still awesome.

pros of Texas:
my brother lives there.  he was paralyzed in A-stan last january and could use someone to hang out with
good weather
cheaper cost of living
cheaper land and homes
better chance of finding a job
pig hunting
saltwater fishing only 4 hours down the road
it's Texas

Cons:
hmmm...  fireants maybe?  but i kinda miss those little bastards

Colorado pros:
lots of friends there
better chance of getting laid
4 wheeling on the mountain trails
trout fishing
camping
nice summer weather

cons:
high cost of living
not many jobs
I fucking despise the cold and snow
high taxes

Never been to Colorado, I hear it's full of dirty smelly hippys. I have been to Texas, for about 10 months, I would move there before moving to a state full of dirty smelly hippys.

Plus your brother is there, he would probably appreciate the company, so I voted for Texas.

I absolutely love Colorado, best state there is. That being said, paralyzed brother in Texas who could probably use your help and friendship. Seems Like a no brainer.

I'll vote TX but not just because I live here.  I have spent a lot of time on CO and it is just plain bone-chilling cold for a LONG time during the winter.  Here you wear a sweatshirt and call it a day most of the time.  Summers are hot but I love hot, bring it.
