the part in red crushed me to learn.  I was almost done with the entire show and stopped watching it after I saw him in the sandy hook commercial.  I'm petty like that though.

You can't say that ending with them doing what they did was amazing. I mean it made so much better sense.

The original just sorta ended...

You're right.  I can't (nor would I want to) say that ending was amazing because it wasn't.

I haven't seen anyone mention A Young Doctors Notebook and Other stories. I'm really liking it. Takes place in Revolutionary Russia, a young doc (harry potter guy) that doesn't know what the hell he is doing is haunted by his future morphine addicted self(main guy from Mad men). Really funny, and cool medical scenes, in a gory kind of way.

As is Korengal

The Village by M. Night Shyamalan is also up which some may like, but others will hate.

Firestorm was ok.  A bit over melodramatic.  Gun battles are fun, but holy tracers Batman!  It kinda reminded me of The Transporter.  Lots of tracers flying around.

Watched The Colony and it was just meh

Started watching Company of Heroes and turned it off. Something didn't sit right with it, I think the special effects and how they played music during the battle scenes. Maybe it was the fact that Tom Sizemore was in it, I dunno. May try again later.

Just added The 100 series after watching the trailer. Looks like it has potential.

The 100 is pretty good (at least for season 1).
Season 2 is on WB - you can probably still watch it for free online to catch up.

Another UP vote for The 100.  Just finished season 1 and have season 2 lined up on the DVR.  The show moves along pretty quick which I like.

Branching outside of Netflix a bit, the GF and I have been enjoying Nurse Jackie and Sleeper Cell which are both Showtime series.

Nurse Jackie is an interesting character.  The show is filled with family / relationship drama due to Jackie's bad habits.   Your GF will love it.  You will enjoy it enough to stay awake and will find Jackie's constant bullshit loathsome.

We just finished Sleeper Cell.  Sleeper cell is good if you like shows like 24 and Homeland.  Plenty of drama and suspense. I liked it a lot and was surprised that it only ran 2 seasons.

I watched that last week.  They suckered me in with Peter Dinklage and Summer Glau.

It was okay if you're looking for an extremely goofy B-movie.

I have to say though I have no idea how they got Emmy winner and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage to do that movie.

Too funny.  I thought the exact same thing.

I may have to try to slog through it again, though, based on the recommendations in this thread.

Same here. Its a good show. Plowing through it but cannot understand what is being said from time to time. LOL at the scene with the mother at end of episode 2 of season 2.

Watched Eden and 13 Sins this weekend

Both were pretty good.
I've seen the 13 Sins premise done similarly before (The Box comes to mind), but this was still entertaining.

Eden was well acted and a good story  (May be listed as The Abduction of Eden).

Was watching it with the kids. I even overlooked the gay, "bear"  Santa taking photos in his underwear.
When it came to the president of the Santa club defending himself for being a swinger, I cut it off.
