I always miss it too, just look at the mini map. If you spawn next to the circle with the flag in it (cap point) you're defense. If you spawn next to a diamond and the flag is next to the opp spawn you're assault. If the flag isn't near either of the two spawn points it's encounter.  |

My first day playing since WOT switched to version 7.4 (I guess in about 2-3 weeks) Got 9 kills with a Hetzer today on Ensk. Too bad they weren't all tier 4 or above - I missed out on a Boelter's. Took a long break, but I'm back! I should have my M103 tonight, glad to finish up that grind and excited to move up to Tier 9 finally. From the chatter in-game, it sounds like the American heavies got their armor nerfed...is that true? I know my T-34 seems to be packed full of dynamite now, it dies QUICK compared to my T-32, and the KV-5 is making me WAY more credits.
Enjoying the new modes, it's nice to have a change. Any regular company battles or CW stuff I should be aware of? 1 month of premium, so if you see me online and want to platoon, shoot me an invite. I have a 10-person vent server, I saw the bank charge a couple of weeks ago when it auto-renewed...as soon as I get that set back up I'll post the information here so folks can use it. I need to get a decent cheap headset to use with it, recommendations welcome. |

E-95 I was in a battle last night where a GW Tiger went TD on someone... that someone was backed into a corner up against a hill or something. I think the GWT missed, but the round hit the wall right behind the enemy and still blew him to shit. The explosion was rather epic! |

So I got into a game last night in my 50 120, and there was a chick in a 50B, and another dude in a 50 100. We were chatting a bit about reload times and such. Chick in the 50B (her name was ashley90 or something, so I think it was a chick) says she had her reload down to 17 seconds in that tank. Wowsers.
So I run ventilation and had my commander with Mentor, which resulted in the rest of my crew being at 111%. I just switched their skills and now they all have 100% Brothers In Arms, so now the radio/loader, gunner/loader and driver are at 121%. That knocked about 3/4 second off of my reload time. Chick with the 50B said her crew was at 130%. I can't wait for the 50B. Having a good crew, a 17 second reload and only 2 seconds between shots.... that thing has got to smash assholes quick! |

I just read something interesting on the EU page:
Server Patch on Monday 9th: Dragon Ridge Map Temporarily Withdrawn On Monday 9th July during the server restart, a minor patch will be applied.
The server will be down between 07:00 h CEST (05:00 GMT) and 07:30 h CEST (05:30 GMT). This server patch will remove the Dragon Ridge map from the game so that we can make some improvements to it. Once the work has been completed, the map will be returned to the game. Thank you for your understanding. I wonder if this is related to the frequent "crash to desktop" and "red screen in sniper mode" I know some folks have been having. And if so will that be headed in our direction soon? E-95 |

Smallbore . . . has the red screen in sniper mode and crashes to desktop every time we're on that map. E-95 ETA: From my understanding, this is by far the most graphics intensive map in the game and as a result video cards that are just at the edge of compatibility tend to get pushed over the edge on Dragon Ridge. |

I will give you a hint, she is full of it. You can not get the 50B reload time down that low. With 100% crew and vent is still 29 sec. If you add BIA and strong coffee you get it down to 27 at best. I have the 50B with vent but not BIA on it and it is still over 28 seconds. In my BatChat I have vent 100% crew, BIA and with coffee you only get 36.4 seconds and that's down from 39 seconds for a 100% crew with vent. |

Ok, 22 minutes into the mayhem and we have no company going... Friday night during a holiday week is about the worst time for me to be online. I may be a nerd, but I still have some semblance of a social life. Yeah, sure.

I'm about 18,000 xp away from the IS7 but I only have 2 million credits.
I've got the M6a2e1 or w/e the premium 'frankentank' is, Lowe, IS3, IS4, IS8, BT2, T-127, Tetrarch(sp?), and some really fucking horrible tier 2 or 3 German SPG. Thinking about selling off the IS3 and IS8 and cover whatever else I come up short with gold conversion. Not sure though. My thoughts with tanks are the same as they are with guns. Never, ever sell... Much as I hate the IS8 it's not a horrible T8 if you can avoid getting shot at. The IS3 I fell out of love with a while ago but I still have really good games with it from time to time. edit: And what's the Boelters(sp?) medal for? Got it last night in my 7 kill loss game. First time I've noticed getting it. |
