Was listening to Michael Rooker on NSFW Show tonight, and, in his own words, an "avid shooter..." Totally awesome!!!

I would venture to say the gun is Rooker's and RRian is learning to shoot for a part...or, Rooker is introducing him to the sport...I know Rooker has handeld guns in many movies, but he moves, carries, and handles the weapon like he is well experienced with it outside HollyWeird..

On NSFW yesterday, Rooker said that he's been an avid shooter and gun owner since Tombstone.

He also said Rainn never had touched a gun in his life.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Dwight Schultz? I've heard him filling in for Savage in the past.

At SHOT 2008, while I was waiting in line to get R. Lee Ermey's signature at the Glock booth, Ermy decided to surprise us all and dragged his good friend Micheal Rooker to introduce him to everyone waiting.

"This is the best damn pro-gun actor in the business!" or something similar.

It was fucking badass...almost as badass as shaking the Gunny's hand.
