I have something I am sure nobody here has but posting it will cause some serious controversy. It commented the same in the thread where we were supposed to post something we found in the woods. I will never tell but trust me, nobody here has this.. No one likes a cock tease. It probably is space shuttle debris and he doesn't want to go to the pound me up the ass federal pen for showing us a picture. Now THAT is funny! |

MUST KNOW MORE ABOUT THAT WEAPON That oddity is the short-lived Cobray/FMJ "Pocket Pal" –– a double barreled DAO hybrid revolver with two cylinders in different calibers (5-shot .22LR or 3-shot .380), each indexing on a different barrel. It breaks open to reload and/or swap cylinders. The problems were many. The ergonomics sucked, big time. The capacity was low and the calibers anemic for SD, even for a "pocket gun." And it was far too bulky/heavy for true "pocket gun" use, but gave up way too much to ever be a serious full-size, holstered gun. And the trigger looks for all the world like a cigar cutter. I pre-ordered this one from SOG back in my FFL days, as soon as it was announced/advertised. I don't know exactly how short-lived it was/how few were made, but in all of my years of buying/selling/trading guns I have yet to come across another one in person and I've only seen one other mentioned online (a sale on one of the auction sites a while back). |

Communications Control panel, Minuteman II/CDB weapon system (DEUCE!!!!!). This one came out of T-0 Launch Control Center, 564th Missile Squadron, Malmstrom AFB MT. This panel controlled all voice communications between the capsule, the 10 launch facilities assigned to the site, the other four launch control centers in the squadron, the other two squadron command posts in the wing, three types of radio, two dial lines and the site intercom. ETA: Just like in this thread: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=1086876&light, 43d picture down. Knew someone with one a lot like that. |
