means the phone isnt on their network..., needs to be activated
thowe the bitch in the garbage and go buy a new one, they are only like $15 and include some free minutes |

you need to apply for a $200 tax stamp
you can't have both a phone and a sim card before you get your stamp... better hide your dogs |

SIM card is a little interchangable identification device, probably under the battery in the back of the phone. Call tracfone and see if they can activate it as is, if not, see if they'll send you a new SIM. No need to throw the phone away. |

Tracfone has some weird policies. If you don't add minutes often enough, you lose what you have.
How to get it activated, I don't know. The phone itself is still good, but I think you need to contact Tracfone directly, especially if you have a card with minutes specifically for a Tracfone. I wouldn't trash it, either put it in a car for emergency 911 calls, or give it to charity. |

They have a call center somewhere in South/Central America too. I don't know which one was harder for me to understand.
