saigamantx, hammermill, medicfrost add nothing to the site with the copious amounts of stupid they start 10 - 20 times per day! GD used to be good for info and general news with minimal bullshit! Now GD is almost all bullshit with a few nuggets of truth mixed in.

Add to this limiting any thread with the words "g2g" "gtg" and so forth. Every other thread in the discussion forum could easily be found using search. And many of the recent ones are by guys with 3,000, 8,000 + posts. Some have been here since 2003 asking if Palmetto State is good to go

Yeah. The topic starting spamming is getting a little irritating in GD. A few users start really stupid topics as what I call "drive bys". Start a topic and never come back to it.
At least in GD limit users to the number of topics they can start each 24 hrs period. |
