bigger issue is here.

The real issue is the lack of any links keeping the protocol you're on, everything goes to http. This site pairs nicely with HTTPS Everywhere though, just make a rule. Or for mobile you can fake a HSTS response w/ something like fiddler, then from then on the site will be forced to HTTPS.
