I get the big bottle of silver at Costco. Makes great tequilas.

With the nasty crap in Margaritas, the choice of Tequila doesn't matter. You can't taste it any way.

Back in the day,in the town of Tequila,Sinaloa,Mexico,we used to buy tequila for $1.00 per gallon if you brought your own bottle.

Yeah, but in 2017 the Angus Pepper required for the trip overwhelms the cheap Tequila price.

$18-$20 for a liter. It's some of the best tequila that I have ever had.

Espolon is better than mix swill tequila, so it makes a great margarita. Priced around $22.

I ended up with Cazadores Reposado. Store had silver and reposado for $21.49 750ml. Reviews suggested both were very good and the Reposado more flavor. Tastes great neat so should make a good cheap Margarita.

All the more reason to make your own sour-mix; fresh lemons, limes, & simple syrup. Your guests will thank you.

I was a Patron Silver guy when I was into tequila, I only drink them when we have company now, and I'm making margaritas.
Costco Silver seems to be the smoothest mixer, in quantity, for the price.

Stay away from Cuervo Gold.

El Jimidor is "inexpensive" but NOT "Cheap".....
