Picked up one this week. Not really much of a "watch guy", but I like Tags. I have an original Formula 1 chronograph w/orange face which I love, but wanted something a little more formal for client meetings.

Did I make a bad choice?

Nope, I just bought a TAG Carrera Calibre 7 Twin Time and I love it. Put it on a NATO strap and it works for every occasion.

I paid 85% of MSRP. I felt really guilty spending that much on a watch (I know that isn't much in the luxury watch world), but reminded myself I put a $10k diamond on the wife's finger a few years ago and bought her a new Rubicon this spring.

It has the brushed stainless / ceramic band that I think gives it some character.
