From the blurry, long distance pictures it looks like a late '50's early '60's gold plated Seamaster with a sub-dial but more info is needed to narrow down the model.
Close-up pic of the dial and case back so the dial markings and engraving can be read.
Case diameter?
Quartz, automatic or manual wind?

I've never seen a real vintage Omega Seamaster with the jewel count on the dial and the engraving is usually on the inside of the case back.
Those are usually signs of a replica.
Sorry, I think you have a fake.

From the Omega forum "spot a fake vintage Seamaster" thread:
First, you won't find "antimagnetic" or a jewel count on the dial of any Seamaster. Second, that's one crappy movement. Omega copper plated their movements since the word Seamaster has been used on the dial. Third, Omega never put the hallmarks (like the O WATCH Co inside the triangle or the 18K 0.750) you see on this watch's caseback on the outside - they were always on the inside.

My father got this watch 40 years ago.  Shame if it was a fake

Take it to a watchmaker and have them look at the movement, that will tell the truth very quickly.
None of the fakes (even the Swiss fakes) got the movement correct.

It's not a screw back, so carefully pop the back off, and show us a good, close, in focus photo of the movement.

I'm not going to take it apart.  I'm not that skilled. I will take it to a watch maker and see what they say though

Thanks for everyone's help
