The 2016 Rolex Explorer is the most versatile, you can wear it with everything and pretty much go anywhere and do anything. It's a solid tough, classic watch. |

My new-to-me (and incredibly lightly used) Steinhart Ocean Titanium 500. It had a few light scuffs on the bracelet, which were easily taken care of with a light rubbing with a Scotchbrite pad.
Loving it--light, bright, and easy to read. SOPROD A-10 TOP movement is puuuurdy looking at it through the caseback - engine turning, nitre blued screws, 25 jewels, big golden rotor. Attached File Attached File |

Wore Rolex for years & was happy w/40mm & then I caught the Panerai bug. Love the Pelagos for when I'm not in the mood to wear a PAM. Tough decision when you add in the Scar but the Pelagos damn sure looks better. |

Citizen Eco Drive....dive watch. 15 years old......it was given to me by my daughter, to celebrate my first Father's Day. She just doesn't remember it.....as she was only 4 months old. It's been an incredible watch, thus far. I have much nicer watches.....a Cyma and an Ebel, but generally they stay in a drawer. They don't hold a candle to this one, for reasons all you father's understand.

View Quote I wouldn't normally lean towards anything Chinese if there are other options, but for size and functionality a lot of people that know smartwatches say go with the Huawei. I'm using a digital face now (Everyday Premium by HuskyDev), it tells me everything on the face, with shortcuts to things like weather, Google Fit, etc. One downside of the Huawei compared to some of the other options is that it doesn't have it's own SIM or GPS, so it has to be within bluetooth range of your phone for some things to work. Casio and Samsung both make more stand-alone watches, but they are massive. The one pictured above sells on Amazon for around $300, i've had it for a couple weeks and once you get used to it and find the right watch face for what you want to do, it's pretty handy. When Android Wear 2.0 comes out (supposedly next month) it should be even better. |

Lifting things up and putting them down, so naturally the Smiths has to make an appearance.
