Awesome

I can't decide between a Peligros, black bay, seamaster, explorer (39mm), or a scar 17.

I have all of those except the SCAR (I have a MR762 instead).

The 2016 Rolex Explorer is the most versatile, you can wear it with everything and pretty much go anywhere and do anything.
It's a solid tough, classic watch.

My new-to-me (and incredibly lightly used) Steinhart Ocean Titanium 500. It had a few light scuffs on the bracelet, which were easily taken care of with a light rubbing with a Scotchbrite pad.

Loving it--light, bright, and easy to read. SOPROD A-10 TOP movement is puuuurdy looking at it through the caseback - engine turning, nitre blued screws, 25 jewels, big golden rotor.

42mm is as small as I'll go these days. Wore Rolex for years & was happy w/40mm & then I caught the Panerai bug. Love the Pelagos for when I'm not in the mood to wear a PAM.
Tough decision when you add in the Scar but the Pelagos damn sure looks better.

Citizen Eco Drive....dive watch.   15 years old......it was given to me by my daughter, to celebrate my first Father's Day.   She just doesn't remember it.....as she was only 4 months old.   It's been an incredible watch, thus far.   I have much nicer watches.....a Cyma and an Ebel, but generally they stay in a drawer.  They don't hold a candle to this one, for reasons all you father's understand.

Very nice.  I'd like to get one of those, but I have to move some stuff around first.  Of course, I've been saying that now for about 6 months

I'd love a Black Bay with a red and a blue bezel, but I wish they were 42mm at least. 40mm just doesn't work on me wrist.

That thing is damn cool, clever Chinese bastards!  Looks way better than those nasty iwatches, and seems to have about the same capability.

I wouldn't normally lean towards anything Chinese if there are other options, but for size and functionality a lot of people that know smartwatches say go with the Huawei.
I'm using a digital face now (Everyday Premium by HuskyDev), it tells me everything on the face, with shortcuts to things like weather, Google Fit, etc.
One downside of the Huawei compared to some of the other options is that it doesn't have it's own SIM or GPS, so it has to be within bluetooth range of your phone for some things to work.
Casio and Samsung both make more stand-alone watches, but they are massive.

The one pictured above sells on Amazon for around $300, i've had it for a couple weeks and once you get used to it and find the right watch face for what you want to do, it's pretty handy.
When Android Wear 2.0 comes out (supposedly next month) it should be even better.

I wish that Boschett had bright orange or blue outlined hands and markers.
Big stainless white dial dive watches look awesome with some neon accents.

That smiths makes me want a 39mm explorer or MKII Vantage.

If I ever buy a Rolex it will be this:

That's a damn good looking watch. Is the date change progressive or instant like a ETA?

Also, is the dial luminous?

Here's another oddball watch from my collection.

Chinese military automatic watch made by Sea-Gull, it sounds like a baby rattle when you shake it but keeps great time and has a long power reserve.

That watch would look good on a Hirsch Robby sailcloth strap.
Or a Hirsch Medici curve ended strap for a fitted look.
