Two of them were Black Rain I believe.. One was a concrete color, another one was light color, and there was a fde brownish color.

This was a mistake on our end. Those weren't supposed to be in paint mode as they're not offered by Duracoat but they were needed to be in the systme so we could color the Rainier RUC and some BRO parts correctly, they ended up being visible in paint mode.

Is there any way to get an ambi bolt catch for the ARFCOM billet lower? I don't think there is but maybe I missed something. Just wondering.

The Lancer ambi bolt catch appears to only be available with the Lancer lower receiver. The Ranier ambi bolt catch appears to only be available with the Ranier Ultra Match lower receiver. All the other lower receivers appear that they are mil-spec lower receivers and ambi bolt catches aren't in the mil-spec. |

Another thing I noticed is the MI 7" SS Drop In handguard doesn't fit right with the barrel nut. All of the other lengths in that MI handguard do except for the 7"..

The Troy M7A1 Carbine handguard is off-center; it's slightly to the right. Then, there's also the recurring issues of pre-built guns turning solid jet black or totally disappearing from the menu, both of which can be solved by refreshing the page, but they keep coming up from time to time.

The CMMG MK4, MK4T and MK4K should have 6-position receiver extensions rather than 4-position receiver extensions; the LaRue PredatAR should also have a 6-position receiver extension and a RAT stock. Also, the CMMG free-float, rifle-length tube is, for some reason, incompatible with a rifle length barrel if it has a front sight post. Also, the PWS MK116 should have an extended handguard. Lastly, camouflage paint does not work properly on the B5 Keymod Carbine handguard; I've tried adjusting the scale of the camo patterns, and it does nothing to fix it.

I've used GUNSTRUCTION before but now nothing happens when I go to the page. I go here: http://www.ar15.com/gunstruction/ ... downloaded and installed Unity Player, go back to the previously mentioned page... and nothing. It just sits there telling me I need the player. Am I not going to the appropriate start page? Is Firefox diddling me? Wut?

macbook pro 2.66ghz intel core I7, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MB. running the latest firefox and safari browsers. everytime I try and build a gun in firefox or save and submit for the contest in safari it crashes my computer.

The JT 0.9375" railed gasblock doesn't seem to have any .223 barrels that fit it.
Edit: also, when I go to my .300BLK save, the pistol grips are missing, and the menus lists .223 parts, such as barrels and muzzle devices. I think this may be a glitch after editing my .223 build. |

You should be able to use the strike industries and CMMG 7" handguards with the a2 style gas block/sight... at least the strike industries one for sure.

In the complete rifles section, Bushmaster's description is from Sig Sauer. Secondly, the Strike Industries Mega Fins handguard should not be compatible with any low-profile gas blocks other than Strike Industries' low-profile gas block, which has not yet been added to GUNSTRUCTION. Thirdly, if possible, fix the Geissele Mk II SMR so that the metal slides connect with the modular rail, because it looks strange having those tiny metal bars just sitting in fixed positions when they should only be there to hold rail pieces. Finally, I realize that I am mercilessly beating a dead horse, but please update the 13" Geissele Mk I SMR. Its design is outdated compared to the other SMRs. Finally, I just noticed that attaching the Geissele Low-Profile Gas Block makes the gas tube disappear.

The "default" rectangular mag release should be changed to the round one for preset rifles, and the 20" American Spirit Arms barrel looks more like an 18" barrel. Also, the fluted and ported bull barrels are not appearing as being fluted or ported.

The JT 20" barrel is said to have a 1/9 twist rate on the info box, but the barrel is marked to have a 1/7 twist, as it is engraved on the lower left side, "5.56 NATO 1/7".

When changing rail and barrel nut combinations, sometimes the option to choose any of them disappear completely.
Also the AAC 51T flash hider (7.62) should be able to add a suppressor AAC 762 SD |

there is issues with modeling.
first, the Pinned FSB seems incompatible with BCM KMR 9" 
which it's possible, from their official website I tried with a different barrel, a lighter one (.625), that one actually works, but not with .750 
but this can be bypassed, if you generated a URL or just save into the slots 
also, the milspec forged upper still it's not line-up with the lowers in general, except a few of them did.

Not sure if it was just the Seekins rail I tried, but I could not get any of the bipods to mount correctly to the bottom of the rail. They would only mount to the top of the rail even while trying to rotate the rifle or part.

Looking at the LaRue LT755 Tall Tactical QD Pivot Mount, I noticed that it sits below its proper height at lower 1/3 co-witness. Also, when the mount pivots to the side, the magnifier mounted on it does not pivot with it, but just stays floating where it is. The latter issue can be rectified by moving the mount, however. Also, the Faxon 12.5" Lightweight Barrel costs -$1.00, but hey, if I get paid a dollar for every barrel I order, I'm not complaining.

I noticed a problem.
When you select any of the bundled 308 BCGs, there are no compatible barrels. When selecting barrel bundles, you get the error "Failed to download the required information" I tried this in reverse, picking the barrel before the BCG and it didn't show any compatible BCGs. My build was using an Aero Precision M5 308 upper and lower. |

Is this still in Beta? Don't see that on the gunstruction page, but it won't let me save. Says I have to be logged in, and I already am. The whole thing bogs down my quite new PC, even this forum. Not much use if I can't save multiple configs, then compare.

I believe it was Avast. Not loading builds. Firefox 42 or IE. Latest Web Player. (v5.2.3f1 though it says 4.6.6f2 in cache/setup console). Antivirus off.
I can do a quick build (add a part and save). Without leaving Gunstruction, I can start over and load that quick build, but still can't load others. If I leave Gunstrucion (refresh to home page without closing browser) I can no longer load the quick build. |

Is there a configuration check list for troubleshooting. Everytime there is an update this happens. If part of the update
process is to reconfig the saved files and it takes time to do them, we need to know. If I knew if would be unusable for a few days while older users are fixed, I'd be fine. It is the not knowing that is maddening. |

In the process we merged the saves (so mobile and web saves would be compatible). We did attempt to migrate over as many saves as possible, but the result is that some older saves did get nuked. With the latest patch (3.11 for web, 3.1 for mobile) we simplified and streamlined the save data again, however in the process we caused an issue with new saves. Most of us have been out of office for the holiday weekend, but we plan on getting the saves sorted first thing. After all the dust settles, we'll know for sure if the saves are can be migrated or not, we should have an answer by mid week. |
