Will there be an option to save your build? Or is there one already built in that I'm not finding?

The program is fairly graphics intensive. Older laptops are going to have some slow-downs for sure (I believe the 1520 from from 2007?). We do want to add some graphical options to allow for some slower systems to still run at good performance.

THAT.. is pretty strange. Were you working off of a from scratch gun or a prebuilt? Any idea what order you added parts in?

The good news is, you're not crazy, someone else found something very similar. The bad news is they didn't know how they made it happen either!

Hey y'all. Love this site and the gun construction. Playing around with it I didn't have any issues with anything that I saw while creating my gun on a Mac. Yes I know that isnt very helpfull haha.
Below is the gun (visually) what my second gun I buy will be. Still saving up to buy a hang gun first. I am not to familiar with quality of items so feel free to critique the specs =) Very willing to learn something. We're planning on having a lower quality option in the future to help out those on slightly slower systems. Hopefully will help you out! But lets be honest, other tabs aren't important if you're messing with GUNSTRUCTION :)

I'm well aware of this I think I lost 5 hours of my life this afternoon. I would really like to see more camo patterns too, some of them are really light looking darker patterns possibly maybe a better urban camo and a more realistic woodland camo. I also can't wait for more parts to be added it seems like I'm running out of creative builds. Also can't wait to add rail sections and co-witness with magnified optics. Are there going to be any noveske parts added, maybe some mega arms parts and umbrella corp? |

The best part of this project is that the community helps us drive it. You don't like something, let us know! We want this to belong to all of us and to make it a tool that everyone can use for a number of reasons, creating a build, testing co-witness, seeing part incompatibilities, etc. and it requires feedback and information from everyone here in order to be as accurate and functional as possible!

Some parts don't show up for me. Seems to change depending on what else is on the build. For example, my last attempt had everything selected, but the upper receiver, bolt/carrier, and handguard weren't there.

Were they not appearing at all or were they appearing but ghosted blue/yellow/red? Can you get a screenshot of that happening if you get a chance?
Also, try clearing your unity cache and giving it another go, something might have gotten messed up in therehttp://webplayer.unity3d.com/setup/ just hit delete all on the bottom right there. |

Can you post your computer specs? It might be needed for you to reinstall Unity but i'm beginning to wonder!

Hi
Mostly working fine but noticed a strange issue after saving a build and then reloading it later. The optic were blown up to extreme proportion and took the place of the stock. Gunstruction link: http://www.ar15.com/gunstruction/?guid=2D51AEFA-42EB-4582-8AB0-713FACB633EC http://s13.postimg.org/i73ut2x0n/Capture.png |

Looking into that save issue! We had to redo a lot of how we save/load this past patch and has caused some wonkiness.
|
|
|
I've been using gunstruction for the past couple of weeks and all of a sudden it won't load. All I get is an outline of a white box with a little symbol in the top corner. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem.

Ummm... I'll just leave this here.
I had this saved and this is what I got when i loaded it. http://www.ar15.com/gunstruction/?guid=8878A017-D955-4196-9C02-5472829E4C76 http://i.imgur.com/JYzj3SL.png |

What you can do is save the share link and then reload the gunstruction page and try again. Saving the link will allow you to return to the build at any time. |

Also, if you logged in after the page loaded you'll need to reload to get authenticated. We're going to fix that in a future build.
Best reocmmendation is to email the Shareable link to yourself, and then load it and save it. Originally Posted By connork9900:

In selecting an upper receiver I picked the Larue OBR then clicked "Info" and the description is for the Spikes ST-15 LE while the specs are for the Larue OBR. That was the end of my build and everything else was selecting correctly.
After trying clicking on different things to see if I could "re-set" the glitch I tried the refresh button which started me completely over not just on that page. System seems to be a major resource hog on my end mega-slowing my laptop down. Running an HP w/Windows 8 & IE 10. As soon as I closed the Gunstruction window my machine is running perfectly again.
