...does whatever a Spider Beer does!

Brewing my Haus Amber Ale Thursday.  Mash drained, working on first batch sparge.

Noticed a little daddy long legs inside the top of the brew keggle.  Went to remove it...and it fell into the keggle.  And disappeared.

Never found it, so...SPIDER BEER.

Just in time for Halloween!

I think we have all been there. I was tightening the clamps holding the hoses on my wort chiller as the chiller was in the boil, took the phillips head bit out of the handle to use the handle on the hex heads of the clamps and the bit fell right in to the boiling wort. I always clean my tools well so no harm done but my two friends that were standing there still call that beer "Craftsmanbrew".

Yeah, we have all dunked, dropped, and dripped random stuff in beer. Im convinced it just adds more depth of flavor.

I think thats a nice 8 Legged Amber.

Yeah, but it's gonna be a "snowflake" brew.

How am I ever going to find another spider with just the right flavor?

Speaking of snowflake beer, one of my buddies wants to do a beer using only melted snow for the water.

It should be .... interesting.
