THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I found out about a device called "Turbo Tap" that I saw in a local bar. It seemed like a great idea and product, until I saw the price $229:

Recently, while checking if the price had come down, I still shook my head in disbelief at the price. I guess they only market to large venues, such as stadiums. I don't know how the local bar cost justified one they had on only one of their taps. Maybe it was a free one for marketing purposes.

Anyhow, in my recent search, I found a Perlic Perl tap with flow control. I ordered it on Amazon, at $53 shipped, I thought I would give it a whirl

Anybody else using this? I plan to post an after action report. I have been chasing down foam issues with various kegs for quite some time, and this may be the solution. I was searching for an in-line flow control and really didn't have any luck until this find. I sure hope it works.

Local stadium has that. Magnetic base in cup can be kept for a frige magnet. Not exactly practical for a home setup, and fast isn't the issue for me.

A consistent, low foam pour is what I am looking for, no matter what keg I install.

I use standard perlick faucets all the time but never the flow control model you listed. seems a touch pricey compared to what I've been paying for standard perl's

for me I just adjust my serving PSI and keg pressure

What temp and pressure are you serving at? How long are your lines?

I serve at about 10psi at "normal fridge temp" (ie, to cold, but we use the freezer in the kegerator) with 10-12 foot lines. My pour is kind of slow, but I get a great pour every time. My 11 year old son pours most of my beers, and they're perfect every time!
