Brewing a 10 gallon batch of Amber Lager Saturday, but today:

- Made two big Bavarian Lager starters.

- Moved 5 kegs in and out of kegerators.

- Replaced a regular faucet with a Perlick on my main kegerator.

- Cleaned main kegerator and the backup (while I was moving kegs).

- Wired up and silicone sealed one of the new elements in my BK.

- Moved the 10 gallons of Hefe out of the fermenation chiller. Need room for the Amber.

- Got the brew stand moved around and set up for brewing.

Oddly enough, no cleaning. It's usually cleaning that I do the most.

I've got to re-seal an element on my kettle because I bumped it loose last time I brewed.

Need to Oxy Clean a couple of kegs for 2 batches I am kegging next weekend.

Need to de-label a few dozen bottles.

And I have to finish sanding a mash paddle I made so that it can go to it's new home.

Well this morning I did put a batch in primary.

But after that I did laundry, "warshed" my car, then went out to the airport and changed oil in it, then I spent the rest of the afternoon working on building the engine cowling on my new airplane project.
Tonight I'm just going to kick back and grill a big 'ol burger on the grill and enjoy a brew.....

Oh man, I remember those days.
I'm so glad I got into kegging!
Have fun.

Ordered my starter kit from Northern Brewing today, along with a cream ale extract kit, plus some odds and ends.

I've made an offer on a 10 gallon SS kettle with a fellow brewer, but haven't heard back from him yet. My BIL is going to me use his turkey fryer to boil the wort. I'll be picking up 38 or so free beer bottles this afternoon from another local brewer.

In about 5-6 weeks, I should have some hopefully have some half decent beer to drink!

Since I am riding out this massive storm , I decided to de-label some bottles for the 2 Hearted clone I will be making with a buddy.
I'll be kegging my 3 gallons, and we will bottle his share.
