I feel like a total noob but I can't seem to figure out why my pictures are showing up as links and not embedding.
I'm using the proper img tags... It properly embeds in "Preview" mode, but not on the actual post.

OK - here is how I got my photos to post online.... (keep in mind, this is after a few Citrus Mistress' IPAs) I went to imgur.com I created a new - FREE - account. I verified my email address after Imgur.com sent a verification email. I created a new album - made sure it was not private. And then I uploaded some pictures to it. OK- here is where I had trouble. When I tried to share the link, it would not work. Here is what I did. Hover over the image you would like to upload and click on the drop down arrow. See picture below ..... 
Next -- Click on GET SHARE LINKS see picture below.... 
Now select the BBCode (Forums) see picture below 
Here is where it gets tricky. The BBCode (Forums) adds the img code to the beginning and the end of the link. So you will need to delete this. So, after you have clicked on COPY on the BBCode, go back to your post in AR15.com and select the picture icon to embed you photo. see picture below.... 
delete the img tags and the beginning and end to make it look like this... see picture below.... 
Click on SAVE and your picture should show. Hope this helps. |

OK, maybe an easier way. After you have an image in your album, right click on the image and select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS
Then you can right click and paste this into the ar15 picture link. Much easier.
