Guys, I am a moron when it comes to geometry.

My son was sick and missed a few days of school. He is having issues with circles.

Can anyone help if I post the questions?

Sure, have you looked on YouTube? I make my son watch math how to videos, when he has a hard time understanding.
You might have to look through a few different people channels before you find one person that you like, some are easier to follow than others.
I also have watched the videos so I can help my kids with their homework?

two circles of equal size intersecting.

circle a and circle b are congruent.

CD is a chord of both circles.
If a radius is 10 feet and CD= 16 feet, how long is AB?

you can also set up a right triangle so that the radius is the hypotenuse, short side is 1/2CD, and long side is radius - 1/2 ab

cd and radius are known, so it becomes an algebra equation

Hint: There is a 3,4,5 triangle in there.  It is a problem designed to recognize it.

C to the center of the circle is the radius 10. C0 =8. Use pathagorium therom to figure total horizontal leg then subtract radius from length. Then times length by 2. That will give you the length AB.
