Salmon have in it? I know its a strange question. I know it has almost none in it, but is the rest for like packing/preservative?

preservatives wouldn't contain sugars that you could metabolize, otherwise it would defeat the purpose of being a preservative.
 

(bacteria would be able to feed off the sugars)


But yes, most animal products will have some carbohydrates or another; mostly protein.

Plain salmon has no carbs or sugar.


ETA-fresh rather than canned/processed.
