Looking for a cheap charcoal grill that can get hot enough for a good post sous-vide steak sear. Any recommendations?

Thanks

That's dedication.  Charcoal grill just to sear. How much are the Webers at Walmart?

ETA They're $70. What's your budget?

Umm yeah probably not a good idea. Lighting up charcoal and getting it up to searing temps to literally sear cooked meat is not what you want. Get yourself a good torch and make your steak look edible again.

I recommend a Weber Kettle.

Really cheap?  Terra-cotta flower pot, some sand, and a grill grate

Weber Kettle and skip boiling meat in a bag.

Actually, thinking about it, just use a small charcoal chimney with a grill grate on top.

The chimney starter is great. I recommend a deep fryer for the best and easiest day to day.

Just sear it in a pan on the stove top. You get a nice crust over the whole surface. A good skillet on Medium high and plenty of olive oil. Get it nice an hot , sear for a min each side.

I have been searing on a skillet with homemade beef tallow. I prefer it to olive oil. Trying duck fat next.
