What are you fellow foodies cooking for the big game? I'll be making mini buger and steak sliders, stuffed long hot peppers, grilled sausages, and pulled pork..

Probably whiskey and citrus soda too.

Depends on the weather.

If it's cold, I'm going with She Crab soup.  If it's nice out, probably a brisket on the smoker.

For tailgate type foods, we like to cut hotdogs ( or any frank/link ) into thirds, wrap with half a strip of bacon, roll in brown sugar, and put it under the broiler.

Love Rotel dip with sausage.

I'll probably just eat a hot dog and beer at the stadium.

Section 102 Row 19.

I tend to do something from the region for which I'm rooting.  So this year it's pulled pork and slaw.  Also doing some wings.  The kiddo insists every year I do dark chocolate fondue and some brownies in a football helmet pan we have.  So far that's it but I still have week for something else to bubble to the surface.

Jalapeño popper dip. It is easy and everywhere I take it, people love it and want the recipe. If you like poppers, you will love this.

2 - 8oz cream cheese
1/2 cup mayo - I'm a miracle whip guy but do not use it in this recipe. Real mayo only
1 can diced green chiles - 4 oz can I think
Diced jalapeños. I just guess at this but usually about half of a 16oz jar
Mix it all up and put in pie plate or small pan.
Sprinkle fresh shredded(not grated) Parmesan cheese on top - this isn't a must but it adds a lot to it.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes and serve with tortilla chips

Deer steaks, jerk wings, broccoli, spinach casserole, asparagus and salad.

I'm doing low carb.

Also cooking some stuffed pablano peppers.  Shredded chicken cooked in a salsa mixture makes up part of the inside.
