I forgot to add sugar to a recipe of "full-fat" vanilla ice cream.

Well, it tastes sort of like vanilla-flavored cream cheese. I guess I'll make a blueberry compote (with sugar) to offset the ice cream.

I know it's not GD, but IBT Title Change.

And according to Alton Brown, just let it melt, add the sugar, and re-churn it.

I made a blueberry reduction by boiling blueberries (picked from the backyard), sugar, and water then added a small amount of cornstarch slurry at the end of the cooking time. Put the saucepan in an ice water bath to cool it off then served it over the unsweetened ice cream. FTW!!!!!
