Crab and cheese stuffed jalapenos or mushrooms. Scallops in red bell pepper coulis. Homemade boudin balls. |

look at local taste but I love grilled scallops with basted tarragon vinegar quick easy and different

Wrap a 3rd of a hotdog with half a strip of bacon, insert toothpick to keep it from separating, coat in brown sugar.

Grilled watermelon salad.
Add a little goat cheese and a balsamic reduction. ETA: This recipe is a good place to start. and very similar to what I do. |

I honestly don't know what it is called, but you cut some jalapenos in half (long ways) get rid of the seeds. Put some creme cheese in there as well as a small piece of grilled chicken and then wrap it in bacon. Things are pretty good.

Pig candy. Applewood rub and dark brown sugar coated bacon. It always goes first at my partys.

Ended up cooking dates stuffed with jalapeño and Parmesan cheese wrapped in bacon. Didn't place with those but my steak got 3rd. $500 and a nice plaque.
