Same here. We typically open on the EA for business, but if there are only FCs or MMs we open on that degree. Our EAs can attend any regular stated meeting but they can't vote or ballot. Florida has to do everything in MM, although we've talked about England and other countries that operate in EA for the most part.

Most regular meetings are opened in EA. There have only been a few since I've been around that were opened in MM. If there are no EAs there we open in FC. I like the system, it allows us to learn what to do in lodge from the get go. I'm also active at the lodge from the start. I get to fellowship with the guys and work on memory work a little every time I'm there. It seems like it makes for a tight knit group.

It was soundly defeated by the delegates.

My first stated meeting seated in the South is tonight. The incoming WM is going to open most all of our stated meeting in the MM degree. The idea is the EAs and FCs can get some encouragement to get on with their work and get raised.
